If you don’t find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you die – Warren Buffett

Warren Buffet is beyond introduction. For those who do not know the man, he is an American investor, and is currently the chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. Buffet is considered one of the most successful investors in the world, and has a net worth over $109.5 billion as of January 2022.

Warren, have very spot on quote about business and entrepreneurship, such as:
In the world of business, the people who are most successful are those who are doing what they love.
An idiot with a plan can beat a genius without a plan.
It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you’ll do things differently.
Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.

Money while you sleep or work until you die!

This is a pretty interesting quote, it have some layers of complexities that i would try to peel.

Layer 1: Understanding it as : employment is slavery, and that due to inflation and dropping retirement plans, employees will need to work till death.
I do not think this is what was meant by Mr. Buffet, but it is a good point to think about.

Layer 2: Understanding it as : wealth can be achieved by creating systems that generate money while you sleep. This can be passive income, or automation. Both fit the description, and both can help you generate money while you sleep.

Layer 3: Understanding it as : Work is demanding, get yourself out of the cog wheels of your company ASAP. This is mostly addressed to entrepreneurs and business-people. If you do not make your business independent from your every decision, you will work till you die. Make yourself dispensable.

I personally think Warren was referring to the last 2 points, but in my opinion all 3 layers or points are valid.
