Seasoned Entrepreneur Definition
You probably have came across the term seasoned entrepreneur or seasoned business man.
I did too, but never gave much thought about the term itself. I just assumed it meant experienced entrepreneur or experienced businessman.
Lately, i came across this term in another form. The term used was “seasoning“.
If you do a web search, you will only find results about spicing food or spice related businesses.
But, if we are talking in a none food related context, the meaning of the term seasoning is continual growth during a certain amount of time.
Seasoning might mean apprenticeship that takes years. It can also means skill development that takes a lifetime.
From this perspective, i would define seasoned entrepreneur as an entrepreneur that have experienced this entrepreneurship growth process through many years. And not simply an experienced entrepreneur that might have launched a few projects in a couple years.
