The Man Who Walks With Wise Men Becomes Wise Himself – King Solomon
I am taking this saying attributed to king Solomon from to the biblical Book of Proverbs in the Old Testament.
The Man Who Walks With Wise Men Becomes Wise Himself
King Solomon
In simpler terms, this saying means that if you choose to be around people who are wise and make thoughtful choices, you’re likely to absorb some of that wisdom yourself. The company you keep can play a significant role in shaping your own character and knowledge (and success). It encourages the idea that surrounding yourself with positive influences can contribute to your personal growth and wisdom.
Walking with wise men, or surrounding yourself with wise people, is a conscious decision. In most societies, it is easier to find a foolish surrounding than able to find a wise one, thus the task of seeking wise men is not as easy as you may think.
