It is not enough to have a good mind; the main thing is to use it well – Rene Descarte

If you do not know who René Descartes  was, i am not going to explain whom he was, but know that he was a French philosopher, scientist, and mathematician, who had a major role in the emergence of modern philosophy and science.
Original: “Ce n’est pas assez d’avoir l’esprit bon, mais le principal est de l’appliquer bien.”

It is not enough to have a good mind; the main thing is to use it well

Intelligence is not a great indicator of success it life, as Calvin Coolidge “unrewarded genius is almost a proverb”. It is important to be smart enough to know where to direct your intelligence. I have often written about the uselessness of some actions. For example : A smart youtuber might be posting videos about entrepreneurship, but after 50 videos with almost no subscribers or views, is it really smart to continue in this trajectory (hint : My current subscribers number is 25 , and videos 70+).
Use logic and reason to direct the use of your intelligence, instead of wasting your time and intelligence on useless and none important tasks that will bring you no return on your time investment.

Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not ;Genius will not; Education will not – Calvin Coolidge
Ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary feats, once they’ve routinized the right habits.
You don’t try to build a wall, you lay brick by brick and soon you have a wall – Will Smith
Focus is more important than genius

Discipline divorced from wisdom is not true discipline, but merely the meaningless following of custom, which is only a disguise for stupidity.
