Victory is always possible for the person who refuses to stop fighting — Napoleon Hill
I like this quote by Napoleon hill, even though i recently wrote about the fallacy called persistence and perseverance.
Victory is always possible for the person who refuses to stop fighting — Napoleon Hill
However, Napoleon hill puts it in a much more reasonable way. Victory is always possible. He did not go on to say victory is certain, he was much more realistic, and used the term possible.
For the person who refuses to stop fighting. Here we have the typical confusion on what does this phrase mean, is it persistence, perseverance or determination ? It does not matter we’ll call it perseverance to simplify.
Whatever the field, business, sport, education, as long as your goal is what you are fighting for. You can be victorious if you keep on fighting. You can still lose, but the alternative is to certainly lose.
It is important to know that in certain cases (especially business and startups) it is better to give up and use your time in a better way. But if we are talking about specific goals, then persistence and perseverance make sense.
