I came across a statement by the famous Zinedine Zidane, known to the French football fans as Zizou. The statement goes:
It was my father who taught us that an immigrant must work twice as much as anyone else, that he must never give up.

The quote is originally in French, so here’s the original version:
Zinédine Zidane: « C’est mon père qui nous a appris qu’un immigrant doit travailler deux fois plus que n’importe qui d’autre, qu’il ne doit jamais abandonner. »
Being an immigrant as well, i can agree with this quote / statement … I have so much to add, that i can even write a book about this subject.
In general being an immigrant is tough, being a foreign entrepreneur is tough as well. There are so many barriers the least of which is the language. Thus to be successful you will need to work hard to overcome all the barriers, technical, linguistic or social. And it is very important not to give up, because when you have twice the burden the normal person has, it is very easy to just want to give up.
