Every professional was once an amateur, and every master started as a beginner.
I am posting this quote which i read in the 5 am Club by Robin Sharma. In the book the quote was said by the “spellbinder” an old and wise motivational speaker.
This quote in it’s simplicity is so powerful and so empowering. Simply put in simple words, if they can do it so can you.
The psychological effect of this quote is that it reminds the listener/reader that these successful people and athletes are just people. These professionals and masters were once in your shoes, and they were looking up to the other successful people and idols.
This quote, reminds me of the importance of mentoring. Being in contact with a mentor, allows a person to see the flaws and realize that the idol is just human. As a result being empowered to be like the mentor or better. (if he can do it , so can i mentality)
The question is how do they achieve this mastery and professional status. Please check my other article.
Ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary feats, once they’ve routinized the right habits.
