I was unable to find who exactly said this quote. A shorter simpler quote “Anything in life worth having is worth working for.” is attributed to Andrew Carnegie.
There are few variations of this quote, all are simpler and take in consideration only one factor “time”, “persistence” or “organisation”. It is possible that the original quote was dumbed-down for the masses, or that the quote evolved through the years with the insight and intelligence of successful people (and those that study success).
Anything worthwhile achieving takes time, organised persistent effort, and more time

My opinion:
This quote, has all the key elements that defines good entrepreneurs. It is clearly stating what every entrepreneur should do to achieve some success.
Anything worthwhile achieving takes time : Overnight success is rare, do not expect that. Be patient, because everything needs time.
Organised persistent effort : In this part of the quote, we have 2 keywords, organised and persistent, without organisation success is hard, and without persistent effort it is even harder.
And more time : This last part to emphasize on time needed, drives home the idea. Time is needed, patience is needed but all while putting the needed work.
I simply find this quote very powerful, it contains the essence of entrepreneurship in just few words. It is a shame that this quote is not popular and that instead we have simplified variations.
